Legal Aid & Fees

At O’Neill Defence we are proud to be part of the Legal Aid scheme provided by The Scottish Legal Aid Board. Legal Aid is means tested and if you qualify then your defence will be fully funded by the state.

However not everyone qualifies for legal aid and if that is the case, we will look to work with you to find a fee structure that best suits your circumstances.

We offer both a fixed fee structure for our services to provide you with clarity over what to expect to pay. Or we can provide an hourly rate for all work done.

Whatever your situation, we understand that this is a stressful time, and our aim is to avoid making financing your defence another problem for you to deal with.
